Louisiana Department of Revenue
The Louisiana Department of Revenue is responsible for the collection of state taxes. LDR is one of the largest regulatory state agencies in Louisiana.
Ultix Technologies was contracted by the Louisiana Department of Revenue to assist their E-Services Division with numerous web-based projects. Ultix worked closely with the department to research the operations of their E-Services group and to recommend areas of improvement whereby efficiency would be increased for the group's new software projects. Ultix demonstrated to the Department the need to build a cohesive, division-wide software framework. Ultix then worked with the E-Services Division to develop the “E-Services Framework” which standardized the software development process.

Associated Grocers
Associated Grocers, with over 750 employees and annual sales over $600 million, is one of the largest privately owned companies in Louisiana.
Associated Grocers purchased a license to the Ultix Core Enterprise Application Platform to begin porting their legacy systems from a mainframe environment. Associated Grocers' purchased the license for their internal staff of developers build the extensions needed to manage Associated Grocers' day to day operations. Merchandising Incentives Deals And Surveys (MIDAS) was the first mainframe system ported to the Ultix Core Platform and is the heart of Associated Grocers operations. The project was a major success for Associated Grocers development staff.

Louisiana Department of Insurance
The Louisiana Department of Insurance is responsible for the regulation of insurance laws for the state. LDI is one of the largest regulatory bodies in the state of Louisiana.
Ultix Technologies first engaged with LDI to update their Premium Tax System. The Premium Tax System update became the prototype to the Ultix Core Enterprise Application Platform. The Louisiana Department of Insurance's forward thinking IT staff immediately recognized the value of a fully integrated environment for the entire department. After finalizing the Ultix Core Platform, Ultix Technologies went on to implement all of the processes for three additional divisions within LDI (agent licensing, assesments and data management, and fiscal affairs).
